Victim’s Rights

If you are a victim of a crime, you have certain rights. The Leawood Municipal Court strives to identify all victims of crime to keep them informed of upcoming court dates and the case status.  Notification is typically done by mail, and includes a Victim Impact Statement where the victim may request restitution, if applicable, and provide comments on sentencing.
