WINTER STORM DEBRIS PICK UP
LEAWOOD, KANSAS

The City of Leawood, Kansas, will assist with limb pick up for trees and branches that have fallen from the winter storm this past weekend of January 12, 2019.

Due to more storms predicted for this week, we anticipate beginning pick up on Tuesday, January 22nd, 2019.

More detailed information will be given on pick-up operations as soon as available.
Our first priority is to maintain street access and plow operations.

Once we are into the pick-up operations limbs and bundles will need to
be under 6 feet in length and placed at the curbside.

The City will not trim branches on street trees as it is the adjacent
property owners or Homes Association responsibility.

Solid waste companies may pick up branches as part of their contract with your HOA as well, please contact your service providers to see what requirements they may have on bundle size.

The City Crews will not go onto private property.

In accord with various Federal and State civil rights legislation, the City of Leawood does not discriminate against individuals regardless of race, ethnicity, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, marital status, medical condition or disability.
