Please note that all contractors doing work within the City must be properly licensed, which includes obtaining a City of Leawood Occupation License. An application for the occupation license can be obtained by clicking here [55.95 KB - PDF File].

In addition, all individuals acting as a general contractor, roofing contractor, electrician, plumber, or HVAC contractor must have a valid contractor’s licensed issued by Johnson County, Kansas. For more information about the Johnson County licensing program, click here.
