Involved!
Become
an active member of your City. Whether you join one
of the many service organizations here in Leawood, or
desire to sit on a Public Committee, the choice is yours.
Remember, the Government is by the PEOPLE, for the PEOPLE.
If
you would like to be considered for a spot on any committee,
please contact the Mayor
and let her know of your interest. Find out when the
meetings are, and attend. All Committee meetings are
PUBLIC, unless items being covered are considered to
be under the rules of Executive Session.
If
you feel more like being involved in a Service Group,
contact the President or one of the officers of the
Service Groups listed here. The Service Groups in Leawood
are well known in the Kansas City Metro Area as being
some of the finest!
